News & Media SSIT SUSTAINS STRONG GROWTH WITH RECORD-BREAKING MONTHLY CONTAINER VOLUME August 2025 marked a significant milestone as SSIT achieved a throughput of 105,881 TEUs – the highest monthly volume since the terminal commenced container operations. Cumulatively, throughput for the first eight months of the year increased by approximately 50% compared to the same period in 2024. This remarkable achievement reflects the tireless dedication of SSIT’s management team and staff across all departments, the trust and partnership of our valued customers and partners, as well as the strong support from our shareholders. The terminal’s operations team has implemented comprehensive solutions ranging from optimizing berth productivity and enhancing handling processes to strengthening marketing efforts and expanding our international service network. Notably, the collaboration with leading global carriers such as MSC, ZIM, ONE, HMM, and Yang Ming, etc. through direct services connecting Vietnam with the United States, Europe, and Intra-Asia has provided a powerful momentum, enabling SSIT to achieve outstanding throughput growth.
