On December 21st, 2020 SSIT welcomed M/V YM TRUTH a direct container service to North America belonging to THE Alliance, whose members include Hapag-Lloyd, Ocean Network Express (ONE), Yang Ming, and HMM. This vessel belongs to Yang Ming shipping line, one of the largest carriers in the world. Total volume of the vessel is recorded at 8,492 Teus (1 Teu = twenty-foot equivalent unit) as the highest container volume vessel that SSIT ever handled.
With challenges of Covid situation impacting on the world economy and Vietnamese economy recently, SSIT has still kept professional working way and good service delivery to customer. Therefore, SSIT has been trusted and selected to handle big vessels with good volume from different customers such as THE Alliance, MSC shipping line, CMA CGM, etc.
SSIT greatly appreciates the trust displayed Yang Ming and THE Alliance in bringing large container vessels to SSIT for cargo handling, thus promoting increasingly prosperous trade relations between Vietnam, the United States, and Canada.
